Since 1978 the Miller Family has been serving the residents and visitors of the Outer Banks. Over the past two decades, Miller’s has become a staple on the visitor’s “to do” list. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, one of the two Miller’s establishments is always open and ready to serve up a delicious meal in a family-friendly atmosphere.

A Little History...
Eddie and Lou Miller have loved the Outer Banks since they were children vacationing with their parents. Both from Eastern NC, Eddie and Lou met and married here in 1968 at the ripe old age of 18 and have called Dare County home since 1978. Together they have raised three children,
Brian, Whitney and Alexandra. All three children are graduates of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and all work together in the family business.

Brian married Beth in the fall of 1997. They have beautiful twin daughters, Hayley and Shelby, born in 2000. Their son Gray Edward came along in 2006 and keeps his older sisters very busy. Brian and Beth operate
Miller’s Seafood and Steakhouse in Kill Devil Hills.

Whitney and Bryan Wilson met while attending UNCW and were married in November of 2000. Their baby girl, Schuyler Marina, was born in June of 2007. Whitney and Bryan together run Miller’s Waterfront Restaurant
in Nags Head.

Alexandra married Marc Harris August 12, 2006 and they are just beginning their journey together. “Alex” works alongside her sister at Miller’s Waterfront Restaurant.

After two decades and two generations, the Miller Family still takes pride in the quality of food and service they provide their customers. Both Miller’s Seafood & Steakhouse, and Miller’s Waterfront Restaurant are recipients of the coveted “Best of the Beach” awards. The two restaurants, winning awards in various categories, including Best Breakfast, Best Wait staff,
Best Place for Lunch and Best Seafood are very proud of these awards.
